1/4 CUP SUGAR

DASH SALT

1/2 TSP. BAKING POWDER

OIL FOR FRYING

POWDERED SUGAR

DIRECTIONS:

BEAT EGGS, ADD MILK & SUGAR, THEN BEAT WELL. COMBINE FLOUR, SALT & BAKING POWDER AND THEN ADD TO WET MIXTURE AND MIX. PLACE 1 1/2 INCHES OF OIL IN A FRYING PAN & HEAT UNTIL HOT! (ABOUT 10 MIN). USING 1 CUP OF BATTER AT A TIME. POUR THROUGH A FUNNEL INTO THE OIL MAKING A CRISSCROSS PATTERN. WHEN BOTH SIDES ARE GOLDEN BROWN, PUT ON A PAPER PLATE & SPRINKLE WITH POWDERED SUGAR. RECIPE MAKES ABOUT 8 GOOD SIZED CAKES.....
